Blueberry Sundae 99
on a sign poking out from concrete,
cold sweets from the teats of a cow,
heaping mounds of extruded cold fat
puffed up in a swirl on a cone,
sitting with a dainty point
a cold minaret in a chilled candy shell
with bananas in a plastic boat,
strawberry, chocolate, pineapple afloat
in a gooey sweet sticky liquid moat
delivering relief to the throat
on a blueberry Sunday morning
