greeting

Sitting in the stall,

the guy in the next one
scrapes away

flushes, zips up,
unlocks, opens up,
walks

and I wait for the sound
of the faucet,

silence,

and hear the MEN door close
instead,

in a hurry, I guess,
to a business lunch,
a sandwich,
new clients

to extend his friendly hand
